At Randolph-Macon Academy (R-MA), we help give boarding school students in Virginia the right tools for success in their university years. As a private co-ed boarding school with an elite Air Force JROTC program, R-MA offers an educational experience that not only helps students grow intellectually, but teaches them how to be more responsible young adults and develop excellent character. 80% of our student body also stays in our campus dorms, with our Cadet Life Supervisors staffing each floor. Additionally, students create lasting friendships with one another while living in our dorms.

Located in Front Royal in the Shenandoah Valley, R-MA provides a unique, enriching experience to all of our students. This is especially true when living on our campus dorms. With a Cadet Life Supervisor on staff on each floor, R-MA students get to know their peers better, and develop lasting bonds with them both on-campus and during weekend excursions. Male and female students live in separate dormitories, and receive breakfast, lunch, and dinner each day. We consider dorm life to be an extension of students’ classroom experience, and is a great opportunity for them to truly feel part of the R-MA community.
